Nigel McMurdo MA

Nigel has worked in the social sector for the past twenty years. This has included working with prisoners, homeless young people, individuals and families affected by mental ill health and/or substance misuse. He has extensive experience of delivering issue-based training and has lectured on degree courses in Health and Social Care and Managing Alcohol and Substance Misuse

Nigel has successfully developed teams and implemented culture change in a number of charities.  He is interested in Person-centred, relational and Gestalt approaches to coaching and provides a safe supportive space to those who wish to develop their reflective practice and achieve their goals.

Through the provision of coaching, leaders are able to adopt a more flexible approach and understand how their behaviours impact on organisational culture and staff performance. Nigel is keen to offer a service to those who due to the prohibitive cost are not able to access or benefit from coaching.
